Hobart’s boys track and field team recorded competitive performances in sprint and throwing events at the WL Individuals indoor meet against a large statewide field of athletes.
The meet was held March 6, 2026, at Purdue’s Lambert Fieldhouse in West Lafayette, Indiana, on a 200-meter flat indoor track.
Adrian Stojkoski led the Brickies on the track with a 36th-place finish in the 55-meter preliminaries, posting a time of 6.98 seconds. His performance provided Hobart with a strong showing in the sprint events against a deep field of competitors from across the state.
In the field events, Jensen Laffoon delivered the team’s top overall performance in the shot put. The sophomore placed 13th in the preliminary round with a throw of 41 feet, 4 inches (12.59 meters), advancing to the finals where he recorded the same mark. Teammate Pacey Gomez also contributed with a 22nd-place preliminary throw of 38 feet, 5½ inches (11.72 meters).
The results highlighted Hobart’s early-season depth in both speed and strength events, with several athletes gaining valuable experience against high-level indoor competition ahead of the outdoor campaign.
