Ella Lopez delivered Hobart’s top performance at the WL Indoor meet, helping pace the Brickies against a competitive field across multiple sprint events.
The meet took place March 6, 2026, at Purdue-Lambert Fieldhouse in West Lafayette, Indiana, on a 200-meter flat track.
Lopez finished 19th overall in the 200-meter dash with a time of 28.56 seconds, placing her among the top performers in a deep field that featured athletes from across the region. The event included multiple sub-28 finishes, highlighting the level of competition throughout the sprint field.
Hobart also saw contributions from Marin Ray, who recorded a time of 30.26 seconds in the same event. The meet featured strong participation across sprint and middle-distance races, with tight finishes and competitive times defining the day.
Lopez’s performance stood out as a key result for Hobart, providing a solid benchmark early in the season. Competing against a deep field allowed the Brickies to measure progress and identify areas for improvement moving forward.
As the indoor season continues, Hobart will look to build on these performances and carry that momentum into upcoming meets, with a focus on improving times and competing for higher placements.
