The match took place on December 23 at Westville High School in Westville, Indiana. According to the game’s details, Hobart established dominance early and maintained control throughout all four quarters. The Brickies limited Westville’s offensive opportunities while building momentum through transition play and efficient ball movement.

Ryan Basham continued to lead Hobart offensively, entering the matchup as the team’s leading scorer and rebounder. Jordan Johnson directed the offense, contributing assists and steals, which helped Hobart dictate tempo on both ends of the floor. The Brickies’ defensive effort held Westville well below its season scoring average and forced multiple empty possessions.

According to reports, Hobart improved its early-season form by using balanced contributions and depth, applying pressure defensively, and converting scoring chances in rhythm. The performance reflected Hobart’s ability to control pace and execute consistently away from home.

Hobart is scheduled to return to action on January 10 when the team will host Illiana Christian for a 7 p.m. matchup.
