The game took place Jan. 3, 2026, at Hobart High School.

Hobart set the tone early and maintained control throughout the contest, using balanced scoring and steady defensive pressure to build separation. The Brickies consistently won possessions on the glass and capitalized on free-throw opportunities, preventing Morgan Township from generating sustained momentum. Hobart continued to extend the margin through the middle quarters before closing the game out efficiently in the fourth.

Erik Kingery led Hobart with a team-high 18 points, shooting efficiently and contributing on both ends of the floor.
