The Hobart Brickies boys soccer team is showing steady growth this season as they continue to build momentum behind a balanced attack and resilient defense.
Through the end of August, the Brickies have tallied six goals and five assists across five matches, with several players stepping up in key moments. Two players lead the way with two goals each, while three others have added goals or assists, highlighting the team’s depth and unselfish play.
Hobart secured its first win on Aug. 30 with a 1-0 victory over MTHS, a match that demonstrated the Brickies’ ability to stay composed and finish strong in tight contests. The team also connected on a successful penalty kick earlier in the season, proving they can deliver in pressure situations.
With a roster full of athletes eager to contribute, Hobart has emphasized maintaining possession, creating scoring opportunities and keeping its defense organized. That determination has given the Brickies confidence as they prepare for the rest of their schedule.
The Brickies continue to focus on improvement each week, aiming to showcase their hard work, teamwork and Hobart pride throughout the season.
