The Hobart High School boys tennis team is preparing for the 2025 season with a focus on lineup depth, match endurance, and consistent execution.
Returning upperclassmen provide stability in both singles and doubles, bringing valuable experience from last year’s conference schedule. Behind them, a group of younger players has been pushing for varsity spots through competitive offseason training.
Practice sessions have emphasized serve placement, strong baseline play, and tactical doubles formations. Conditioning has also been a priority, ensuring players can maintain intensity through long rallies and tie-break sets.
Early non-conference matches will give the Brickies a chance to test different pairings and evaluate team chemistry before heading into key Northwest Crossroads Conference battles against programs like Munster, Lowell, and Hanover Central.
