The Hobart High School Brickies cheerleading squad is preparing to bring high energy and school spirit to the 2025 athletic season, supporting football, volleyball, and other sports throughout the year.
Last year, the Brickies cheer team performed at over 30 events, including 12 football games and 15 volleyball matches, energizing crowds and boosting team morale. The squad also participated in regional cheer competitions, placing in the top five among Northwest Crossroads Conference schools.
This season’s squad returns six varsity letterholders, who will lead a group of 20 cheerleaders working hard on stunting, tumbling, and choreographed routines. Practices have focused on increasing strength, timing, and crowd engagement techniques.
Coaches emphasize safety alongside performance, implementing new training protocols to reduce injury risk during complex stunts. The team also plays a vital role in school spirit activities, including pep rallies and community outreach events.
With a mix of experienced veterans and enthusiastic newcomers, Hobart’s cheerleaders aim to maintain their reputation for dynamic performances and strong leadership.
As the 2025 season progresses, the Brickies cheer squad looks to elevate their presence, inspiring athletes and fans alike while representing Hobart High School with pride and passion.
