The Hobart High School Brickies boys basketball team secured a narrow 45–43 victory over South Central High School in a non-conference matchup. The game took place on December 3 at Hobart High School.
According to the game’s progression, the Brickies started strong, scoring 14 points in the first quarter and adding another 13 in the second, leading to a halftime score of 27–22. Hobart further extended their lead in the third quarter with an additional 16 points. However, South Central mounted a late rally, narrowing the gap to just one possession in the final minutes. Despite this pressure, Hobart maintained their defensive stance to clinch the two-point win and defend their home court.
Looking ahead, Hobart is set to travel to Lowell for their next game on December 19, with tipoff scheduled for 7 p.m. In their previous encounter with Lowell last season on December 20, Hobart hosted and won with a score of 63–59.
