The Hobart Brickies secured a narrow victory over the River Forest Ingots, winning 47–45 in a non-conference girls’ basketball game on Saturday. The Brickies managed to recover after trailing late in the game, ultimately edging out the Ingots by two points.
The match was held on November 22 at River Forest Jr/Sr High School in Hobart. According to reports, the Brickies took the lead in the final moments of the game, with their defense proving crucial in maintaining their slim advantage. Despite efforts from River Forest to mount a comeback, they were unable to capitalize on late-game opportunities.
Looking ahead, Hobart will host the Munster Mustangs on Tuesday, November 25, 2025. The game is set to tip off at 7:00 PM at Hobart High School.
In their previous encounter with River Forest on November 23, 2024, Hobart had suffered a defeat against the Ingots.
