The Hobart Brickies dominated from the opening kick, defeating Highland 74–0 on Friday night in a Northwest Crossroads Conference finale.

The game took place on October 17 at Hobart High School, where fair weather and a dry field set the stage for a fast start that never slowed. According to the event details, quarterback Aleks Tatum sparked the surge with a 41-yard touchdown pass to Bryce Tolliver, then added rushing scores of 29 and 14 yards. Aiden Kasch broke loose for a 25-yard touchdown, and Max Pickett powered in twice, including a 52-yard sprint. Logan Peters punched in a 1-yard score to cap a 26-point second quarter. Special teams added a jolt when Nathan Sobczynski returned a punt 25 yards for a touchdown, while Peter Janda, Stephen Miller, and Sobczynski handled extra points throughout the night.

The defense was relentless. Preston Perez pounced on an early fumble to set up points; Jonathan Espinoza returned an interception 30 yards for a pick-six; and Ryder Slaton added a 60-yard pick-six in the fourth before recovering a late fumble. Hobart led 27–0 after one quarter and 53–0 at halftime, triggering a running clock after the break.
