The Hobart Brickies girls varsity basketball team commenced the 2025–26 season with a non-conference victory over Griffith on Friday, November 15.
The game was held at Hobart High School, where the Brickies achieved a home win. According to reports, Hobart employed a defense-first strategy, which resulted in generating key turnovers and keeping the game competitive throughout. The Brickies demonstrated resilience in this close contest by executing timely defensive stops and maintaining composure during critical moments.
Hobart is set to continue its non-conference schedule with upcoming games against Lake Station Edison, River Forest, and Calumet New Tech.
