According to team sources, the Brickies are returning with a determined group focused on aggressive defense, ball pressure, and transition scoring as they aim to establish their identity early in the season. Emerging scorers and experienced guard play are expected to help Hobart maintain an offensive pace, while improved rebounding will be crucial against larger opponents.
Following this opening game, Hobart will travel for a Saturday afternoon matchup against Boone Grove on November 8, with tipoff set for 12:30 PM CST.
Hobart and La Porte did not face each other during the previous season of 2024–25, providing both teams with a fresh opponent to assess at the start of this year’s campaign.
