While the scores of 25‑15, 25‑12, 25‑9 favored the Vikings, Hobart showcased flashes of the talent and teamwork that could define their season.
Alissa Hope and Cadence Costello led the way offensively, each recording four kills, while setter Kalli Butcher distributed seven assists to keep the Brickies competitive. The young team demonstrated poise under pressure and a willingness to battle each point, signaling growth and potential despite the outcome.
