Hobart girls wrestling ready for tournament test at Penn

0Comments

Hobart girls wrestling continues its 2025–26 season under Head Coach Tomas Westberg, aiming to build on early progress as the team moves into a competitive mid-November stretch.

According to the schedule, the Brickies will travel to Penn High School on Saturday, November 15, for the Penn Invite, beginning at 9:00 a.m. CST. The invitational will feature several of the state’s strongest programs, providing Hobart wrestlers with valuable experience in tournament-style competition. Westberg’s group will aim to control the tempo on the mat, capitalize on scoring opportunities, and maintain poise through extended rounds. For younger athletes, this event serves as a crucial opportunity to gain confidence against top-level opponents early in the season.

The experience gained at Penn is expected to set the tone for upcoming dual meets. Following this event, Hobart will travel to Munster on Wednesday, November 19, for a meet at Munster High School scheduled for 6:30 p.m. CST.
