Hobart High School Girls Basketball looks to rebound in 2025–26 season after early split

0Comments

The Hobart girls basketball team is entering the 2025–26 season with a clear focus and determination. The team aims to build on early victories while continuing to develop a balanced and competitive squad.

Following a productive offseason, the Brickies began their 2025–26 campaign with a 42–32 loss to La Porte on November 6. However, they quickly rebounded with a 49–27 road win over Boone Grove on November 8.

According to the team’s schedule, Hobart will continue its early-season non-conference games with upcoming home matches against Griffith and Lake Station Edison. These will be followed by road contests at River Forest and Calumet New Tech later in November.

Conference play is set to begin in late November and December, where Hobart will face teams such as Munster, Kankakee Valley, Andrean, and Lowell. January will see matchups against Highland, Hanover Central, and other Northwest Crossroads Conference opponents.

With early-season lessons learned and a balanced roster in place, Hobart is looking to develop consistency, teamwork, and competitive growth as the season progresses.
