The Munster/Lowell at Hobart Track & Field Tri-Meet showcased the Brickies’ depth and determination across both boys’ and girls’ squads.
The event was held on Tuesday, April 28, at Hobart High School.
Hobart’s men were anchored by standout performances from Dylan Vanderwoude, who won the long jump at 21-04 and placed second in the high jump, while freshman Gabriel Mendez impressed with a personal-best 54.44 in the 400 meters. The hurdles brought promise with freshman Damian Roggenkamp setting personal records in both the 110 and 300, and thrower Pacey Gomez added strength in the shot put (41-00) and discus (98-11). Relay teams battled hard, highlighted by a 3:48.30 finish in the 4×400.
On the women’s side, senior Aalliah Otero delivered a marquee win in the 200 meters with a season-best 26.55, edging Munster’s Igboamaka Odeluga. Freshman Addisyn Moore placed fourth in the 100, while teammates Brooklyn Reichert and Cambria Lloyd also cracked the top ten. Hobart’s depth showed in JV races, with multiple freshmen like Summer Oden and Charlotte Rippe recording personal bests.
Together, the Brickies combined veteran leadership with emerging talent, proving competitive against Munster and Lowell while highlighting the program’s resilience and future promise.
