0Comments

Hobart secured a commanding 50-14 victory over New Prairie in a home playoff game on Friday night, advancing in the Indiana High School Athletic Association (IHSAA) Class 4A sectional tournament.

The game was held on October 24 at The Brickyard in Hobart, Indiana.

Hobart initiated the game with 14 first-quarter points and extended their lead with a dominant second quarter that added 28 more points. Efficient offensive execution, strong special-teams play, and multiple defensive takeaways contributed to short fields and momentum shifts that the Brickies capitalized on. Hobart maintained control of the line of scrimmage and kept New Prairie scoreless in the second half to secure a decisive postseason win.

Hobart is set to travel to Kankakee Valley on October 31 for a sectional semifinal matchup. The last encounter between Hobart and Kankakee Valley prior to Friday’s win resulted in a victory for Hobart.
