Senior defensive end Logan Peters has expressed his enthusiasm for his role on the field, particularly in pursuing quarterbacks. However, he also values all aspects of his position.
“My strength is rushing the passer,” Peters said. “That’s what you live for as an edge rusher. But I don’t mind getting dirty stopping the run, either. My favorite move is my double play.”
According to head coach Eric Schreiber, Peters’ dedication exemplifies the attitude he seeks throughout the team. “We want physicality and pride in how we compete,” Schreiber said. “That’s something Logan and the rest of the seniors are bringing this year.”
Peters emphasized that their ultimate aim is to leave a lasting legacy. “We want other teams to remember us, remember us in 10 years,” he said. “I don’t want to be on a team that gets forgotten.” He added that expectations are high and that the Brickies are determined to meet them. “The expectation is always to win, especially being at Hobart,” Peters said. “We want to make this season memorable.”
