Peters, Pickett recall tough road games

0Comments

Senior leaders Logan Peters and Max Pickett have firsthand experience with the challenges posed by hostile environments in sports.

“For me, the hardest place I had to play was our season opener last year,” Peters said. “Everybody’s excited, and the crowd was into it. It wasn’t easy.”

Pickett reflected on his own challenging experience, stating that his toughest test came earlier. “Sophomore year against Hanover was one of the harder games,” he said. “The crowd was into it, and people were saying stuff. That always happens.”

According to head coach Eric Schreiber, these experiences are crucial for building resilience in athletes. “We want our kids to see adversity and learn from it,” Schreiber said. “That’s what prepares you for the postseason.”
